Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Madison, Ohio

With an intimate student population currently around 30—and a maximum of 45—your expertise and individual attention will be deeply valued.
You’ll support students in grades K-12 across two closely located school sites, where a strong staff-to-student ratio (1:2) ensures collaborative and holistic care. Many students utilize assistive technology, including Proloquo2Go and LAMP, and the role is especially well-suited to a Speech-Language Pathologist comfortable working with pediatric Autism populations and providing essential speech services. If you are experienced or willing to learn Medicaid billing, your skills will help expand access to critical services.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential required
- Eligibility for (or willingness to obtain) Ohio SLP licensure and ODE certification
- Experience in pediatric and school-based speech therapy; autism expertise preferred
- Proficiency or familiarity with AAC devices such as Proloquo2Go or LAMP
- Ability to provide teletherapy and in-person services as needed
- Medicaid billing experience strongly preferred
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with OTs and co-facilitating social groups
- Onsite presence required; travelers intending to acquire Ohio credentials are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to K-12 students with autism spectrum disorders
- Collaborate with occupational therapists and facilitate group sessions focusing on social and pragmatic skills
- Support students using AAC devices and tailor interventions to individual needs
- Conduct documentation and Medicaid billing as applicable
- Focus on therapy delivery (IEPs and evaluations only required if you can bill Medicaid)
