As the dedicated SLP, you will split your time between a specialized preschool program and a vibrant elementary school, both located in a supportive community near Ashland, MO. Engage directly with students at pivotal stages of language and social development, building connections and fostering growth in both settings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current licensure (or eligibility) in the state of Missouri
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt services and communication for a diverse student population
- Collaborative spirit and commitment to student advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive therapy services to preschool and elementary-aged students
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and progress
- Adapt service delivery models to meet varying needs across age groups
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development as required
This is a full-time assignment, 35-37.5 hours per week—offering a chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year while developing your professional expertise.
