Schedule runs from August 2026 through June 2027, offering 35-37.5 hours per week. You'll play a vital part in fostering communication skills that set students up for lifelong success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in schools is preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students at both a special education preschool and an elementary school
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and interventions
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure seamless communication and effective strategies for student success
- Adapt therapeutic techniques to meet the needs of diverse learners
