This full-time contract role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking a dynamic and rewarding assignment in a supportive educational environment.
What makes this position unique? You'll enjoy a split schedule: half the week serving a special education preschool and the other half working with an elementary school student population. This allows you to engage with a diverse range of students—making each day engaging and rewarding. Full-time hours are between 35 and 37.5 per week, ensuring consistency and a chance to build strong relationships across both school sites.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Eligibility for, or possession of, state licensure required for school-based practice
- Prior school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- A passion for working with diverse student populations in both early childhood and elementary settings
- Flexibility and resourcefulness in a school community setting
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for students in both the preschool and elementary settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, family members, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing progress reports
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and child-centered environment
