Position Overview
We are seeking multiple dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team in Virginia. These onsite positions offer the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload, primarily supporting elementary students, with the possibility of serving middle school populations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Attend IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success.
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies and devices when appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology SLP License required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Experience with AAC devices and interventions strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
