Key Qualifications:
- Active Certificate from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) required prior to starting
- Bilingual Spanish fluency is required for effective communication with students and families
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in school environments is preferred
- Flexibility to work part-time or full-time through the end of the school year
- Willingness to serve as a mentor for Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within the district (itinerant role)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population onsite
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Provide bilingual interventions and support multicultural family engagement
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and team-based problem solving
