Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active California SLP license or California CTC credential
- Credentials acceptable: CCC-SLP, CFY, or recent graduates eligible for clinical fellowship
- Experience or demonstrated interest in working within healthcare and/or school settings
- Background in pediatric speech-language therapy preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades K-12, tailoring interventions to individual needs and IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and recommend strategies or supports
- Document progress and maintain detailed records to comply with all regulatory requirements
- Serve as a key resource, participating in IEP meetings and providing consultations with staff and families
- Engage in continuous professional development to remain current on best practices in speech-language pathology
- Travel as needed between assigned schools within the district
