Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Texas state licensure (SLP) or eligibility to obtain.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered.
- Recent experience working within schools or pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Conduct speech-language assessments and participate in multidisciplinary evaluations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
- Offer recommendations for classroom accommodations and strategies to enhance student success.
- Monitor progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
