This opportunity focuses on a part-time commitment—10 hours each week—combining direct support for students and clinical supervision for a Clinical Fellow (CFY). You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both young learners’ communication skills and guiding an emerging professional in the field.
Key Details:
- Position starts as soon as possible and continues through May 31, 2027
- Direct services: 7.5 hours per week working with a manageable caseload of 12 students
- Each week, devote 2.5 hours to in-person supervision of a CFY, for a total of 36 supervision hours throughout the school year
- Preference will be given to credentialed SLP-CCC professionals ready to begin quickly
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC licensure
- Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred
- Ability to effectively support, mentor, and supervise a Clinical Fellow
- Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, scheduling, and compliance
- Commitment to fostering student growth and collaborating with educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Maintain thorough records in accordance with school and licensure standards
- Provide structured supervision and mentorship for a CFY
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and interdisciplinary collaboration as needed
