School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Des Plaines, Illinois

What you’ll bring:
- Active SLP-CCC credential and Illinois state licensure
- Experience working in school environments with diverse student caseloads
- Strong mentoring abilities, especially in supervising a CFY
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Availability to start as soon as possible
Your role will include:
- Directly providing speech-language therapy services for a caseload of 12 students, ensuring individualized, evidence-based intervention plans are executed
- Supervising a Clinical Fellow onsite for 2.5 hours per week, supporting their professional growth and fulfilling supervision requirements (totaling 36 hours for the year)
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to drive student progress
- Maintaining timely and accurate records for all services and supervision activities
- Participating in team meetings and IEP development as needed
This is a part-time, contract position, averaging 10 hours per week through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, with a flexible schedule to support work-life balance and professional career progression.
