Most students present with speech and language impairments and include those in ESE classrooms requiring varied support levels. Your guidance will be central to students’ ongoing growth and communication skills.
Desired Background and Skills
- Active Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) Speech Language Pathologist license (must present license documentation)
- Professional licensure required
- School-based experience preferred (not mandatory)
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with elementary-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct speech/language therapy services
- Support students with speech and language impairments and ESE support needs

- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive school culture
- Complete timely documentation for onboarding and credentialing procedures
