Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Anoka, MN
Step into a pivotal role supporting early learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based environment. You’ll make a direct impact by providing services to an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) caseload of children ages 3–5, covering a 12-week assignment in a vibrant educational community. This extended substitute position is perfect for experienced SLP-CCCs passionate about early intervention and communication development.
Position Details:
- Assignment runs approximately from September 7, 2026 through November 30, 2026
- Located in Blaine, MN, with consistent hours—22.5 per week, spread over three weekdays, Monday through Friday scheduling
- Serve as a long-term substitute in an Early Childhood SLP setting, providing continuity and high standards of care
Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Minnesota SLP license (required)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience with school-aged or early childhood populations (3–5 years old) preferred
- Familiarity with ECSE caseloads and individualized education plans
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Resume and documentation of credentials must be submitted for consideration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and implement individualized therapy for young children with communication needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
- Participate in evaluations and IEP meetings
- Communicate efficiently with teachers, support staff, and families regarding student progress
- Maintain a supportive and welcoming therapeutic environment
