Speech Language Pathologist in Andover, MN
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where your expertise helps elementary students thrive both academically and socially. This contract position offers approximately 23 hours per week, split between two vibrant elementary school buildings. Beginning in Fall 2026, you'll provide vital SLP services to a diverse caseload of K–5 students, tailoring support and interventions that guide children toward their fullest potential.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Current, active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working with children in a school setting is highly desired
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities to manage a split schedule across sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with varied communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with general educators, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment across both elementary campuses
