Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Andover, MN
Step into a rewarding contract-to-hire role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This opportunity involves working full-time in a vibrant educational setting near Andover, MN, from August 20, 2026, through October 9, 2026. You’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact on young learners by delivering tailored speech and language interventions.
Your week will be structured Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (approximately 40 hours), providing valuable consistency to your routine. The caseload consists of elementary-aged students, offering both individualized and small group sessions (2–3 students at a time). Interventions focus on language, articulation, and include a small number of fluency cases, ensuring engaging variety and meaningful student progress.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license
- ASHA CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Ability to deliver both 1:1 and small group services for elementary-aged children
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Comfort utilizing digital platforms for documentation and virtual meetings (Zoom interview required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
