Your role involves working with mild to moderate caseloads. Elementary assignments usually include 45–50 students, while high school caseloads may reach 60, with many students receiving only consultative services. Qualifications:
- Active AK SLP license
- DEED (teaching) certification for Alaska required
- Experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong pediatric clinical or related backgrounds welcome
- Ability to manage caseloads ranging from elementary to high-school-aged students
- Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students with mild to moderate needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Document progress and participate in team meetings
- Adapt services for a diverse school population, ensuring equitable access
