Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within a school setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Create and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success and foster inclusive classroom environments
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify student needs
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate results to all stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
