In this summer school-based SLP position, you’ll play a vital role in the lives of ESY (extended school year) students in a supportive, self-contained environment. With a Monday to Thursday schedule from 7:45 AM–12:15 PM, you’ll have afternoons to explore, relax, or connect with local sights. The assignment runs onsite for May 27th and from June 1–25, 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure and credentials to practice as an SLP in Illinois (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with IEP documentation and planning
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver required IEP minutes to ESY students
- Develop and manage schedules and lesson planning for effective instruction
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain documentation in compliance with school and state standards
