Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY; open to experienced SLPAs with school-based background
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations
- Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for communication disorders
- Teletherapy skills are a plus should the need arise
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-12
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation
- Support students’ communication needs in both individual and group settings
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech-language interventions
