Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility to obtain
- Open to candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA backgrounds
- Experience or interest in working within a school-based setting
- Ability to collaborate with supervising SLPs and other team members
- Commitment to student-centered service and fostering communication growth
Role & Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and intervention services to students in ECSE through 1st grade
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in areas such as articulation, language, and pragmatic communication skills
- Adapt activities and materials under supervision to address students’ varied needs
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals
- Document student progress and session data accurately and in a timely fashion
- Participate in team meetings and professional development, contributing to a collaborative school culture
