Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience providing therapy services in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing students’ needs
- Provide direct intervention services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to maximize student progress
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student support teams
- Educate families and staff about communication strategies and tools
