Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Bridgeport, Connecticut

Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups, in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students’ communication needs
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students with speech and language challenges
