School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Full-Time | Tucson, AZ | 2026-2027 School Year

We are seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time school-based opportunities in the Tucson, Arizona area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Join a collaborative special education team dedicated to helping students develop the communication skills they need to succeed both academically and socially. These positions offer supportive caseloads, opportunities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across elementary and junior high settings.

Position Details

  • $50-$55 per hour
  • 2 Full-Time Openings
  • 40 hours per week
  • 2026-2027 school year
  • Onsite position
  • Elementary and junior high caseloads
  • Caseloads of approximately 50-60 students
  • One position includes support from a part-time SLPA
  • Bilingual Spanish candidates are highly preferred

Position Options

Position 1

  • Elementary resource program
  • Approximately 50-60 students
  • Supported by a part-time SLPA

Position 2

  • Elementary resource program with some students demonstrating significant behavioral needs
  • Includes support for junior high resource students and students with significant cognitive impairments
  • Approximately 50-60 student caseload

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Complete documentation, progress reports, and compliance paperwork
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
  • Support students using evidence-based intervention strategies to improve communication and classroom participation

Student Population

Students may present with a variety of communication needs, including:

  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Expressive and receptive language disorders
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Social communication deficits
  • Fluency disorders
  • AAC needs
  • Significant cognitive impairments
  • Behavioral and communication challenges

Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
