Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist in Rohnert Park, CA
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) is sought for a contract position in Rohnert Park, CA. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP with pediatric and school-based experience who is ready to take on a caseload of approximately 50 students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Virtual support will be provided by another SLP to ensure collaborative care and professional guidance throughout the remainder of the school year.
Key responsibilities include primarily delivering group therapy sessions at a single elementary school site, along with conducting a few individual assessments before the end of the school year. This structure allows focus on targeted intervention and direct impact on students’ speech and language development within an educational environment.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid CCC-SLP certification with a pediatric focus
- Familiarity with school therapy settings and student populations from TK-6
- Ability to manage a caseload of about 50 students effectively
- Experience conducting group therapy and performing speech/language assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff and remotely with SLP colleagues
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred
Location: Rohnert Park, CA – onsite therapy in an elementary school setting with virtual support available
