Here’s an exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with elementary students in the transitional kindergarten through sixth-grade range for the remainder of the academic year. Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school settings strongly preferred
- Knowledgeable in group therapy techniques and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Comfort working both independently and within a team, including virtual collaboration
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 elementary students (TK-6) at one site
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of diverse learners
- Administer and complete required assessments prior to year’s end
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely (virtually) with another SLP to ensure cohesive delivery of services
- Communicate with educational staff and families to support student success
