Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in school settings or strong desire to work with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, creative, and flexible approach to therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services across school settings
- Collaborate with educators, other therapists, support staff, and families to promote language and communication goals
- Maintain detailed progress notes, assessment reports, and therapy documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives
