Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 Hours per Week)
Contract Dates: August 11, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Part-Time Consideration: Potentially open to part-time candidates

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students within a school-based setting in the Fort Myers area. The selected candidate will support students with communication disorders while collaborating with educational teams to promote academic and social success.

Job Details
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week

Potential consideration for part-time candidates
School-year contract: 8/11/2026 – 5/27/2027
Caseloads and student age groups will vary based on school site assignment
Specific caseload details to be determined (TBD)
School placement will be assigned based on district needs

Responsibilities
Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
Provide direct and indirect speech-language services.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers.
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Valid Florida Teacher Certification and/or Active Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) Speech-Language Pathology License required.
Previous school-based experience preferred but not required.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Credentialing Requirements
Fingerprinting is required and must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
Candidates must complete all district onboarding and compliance requirements in a timely manner.
Time-sensitive credentialing requirements apply.
