Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist - Plains, KS

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student growth and supporting diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to students, following established IEPs and evaluation protocols
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress; adapt strategies as needed to maximize success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Attend meetings and contribute to the development and updating of student IEPs
- Educate and coach staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely compliance with all state and federal guidelines
