Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with school-age children or in educational settings strongly preferred
- Skillful in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to create individualized treatment plans and maintain detailed documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for speech services
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in partnership with educational teams
- Deliver direct therapy to students with varying degrees of speech and language needs
- Keep clear, timely records of student progress and session notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Assist in the development of classroom strategies and modifications to support student success
- Provide ongoing education and support to staff and families as needed
