Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist - Oakland, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in school or healthcare settings
- Skilled in evaluation, treatment, and documentation for speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Previous ESY (Extended School Year) experience preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to create strategies supporting student success
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP planning processes
- Provide services in alignment with district and ESY guidelines
