Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license valid in the state of Tennessee
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows with school experience are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to create engaging therapy activities tailored to individual student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student progress
- Document services, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and resources to school personnel on speech and language development
- Help foster a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
