The position is designed for a dedicated SLP to cover two maternity leaves:
- Gallatin, TN (Elementary, K-5): Mid-January to early April, handling a caseload of approximately 40 students. Hours are 7:25 AM–2:55 PM with a 30-minute lunch. Your expertise will be essential for conducting evaluations, attending meetings, and delivering direct student support.
- Portland, TN (PK/Comprehensive Developmental classroom): Early April to end of the school year, serving approximately 34 students. Schedule runs 7:00 AM–2:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. This assignment provides the chance to work closely with young learners who benefit greatly from your skilled intervention.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid TN SLP licensure; CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFYs will be considered
- School-based or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
- Ability to complete evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and manage student progress
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to assigned caseload
- Conduct assessments and write effective, insightful evaluation reports
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in meetings to support each student’s individual education plan
- Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation

$2,141 - $2,258/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
