Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Tennessee SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, school-based settings, or healthcare environments
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff
- Familiarity with caseload management, IEP documentation, and goal-setting for students
- Ability to adapt interventions to individual learning needs and diverse backgrounds
- Comfort with both in-person and virtual therapy (VOCO) is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across elementary and middle school levels
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student assessments
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and school staff
- Employ evidence-based interventions to foster communication and academic skills
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
