We’re seeking a skilled SLP who can seamlessly transition between two vital elementary and PK/comprehensive developmental classroom assignments to cover upcoming maternity leaves.
Assignment Details:
- First Assignment: Elementary school (K–5) from mid-January to early April—support approximately 40 students with evaluations and participation in meetings; schedule runs 7:25 AM–2:55 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
- Second Assignment: PK/Comprehensive Developmental classroom from early April through the end of the school year—manage a caseload of around 34 students; schedule is 7:00 AM–2:30 PM, also with a 30-minute lunch.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State of Tennessee SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Background in school-based therapy—K–5 and preschool/pediatric settings highly desirable
- Experience conducting evaluations, IEP meetings, and coordinating with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to assigned caseloads, adapting approaches for elementary and preschool-aged students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in meetings and IEP development
- Document progress and collaborate with staff, teachers, and parents
- Transition smoothly between locations and caseloads as assignments change

$2,141 - $2,258/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
