Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and SLP-CCC or eligibility for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Proven background in delivering pediatric speech-language services within school environments
- Experience with therapeutic telepractice or willingness to adapt to virtual delivery
- Solid understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and compliance requirements
- Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations at both elementary and middle school levels
What You’ll Do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, tailoring interventions to student needs
- Maintain diligent documentation and contribute to team meetings regarding student progress
- Provide support and consultation to educators and families to ensure continuity of care and effective strategies in the classroom
- Adapt therapy methods for virtual learning platforms, if applicable, with assistance from a provided paraprofessional
- Foster an engaging, supportive learning environment that promotes student confidence and success
