Make a positive impact on children's lives as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students at both the elementary and middle school levels. This contract-based opportunity offers the chance to work alongside dedicated educators and multidisciplinary teams to help students improve their communication, succeed academically, and thrive socially.

Your assignment is scheduled to begin with a training day, followed by a full school-year placement spanning from September through the end of the academic year. The anticipated weekly commitment is 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. SLPs only—virtual and SLPA applications will not be considered.

Desired Background and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Washington state licensure and ASHA CCCs (or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year applicants)
  • Strong background in school-based therapy for pediatric populations
  • Experience in developing and implementing therapy plans for both elementary and middle school students
  • Proficiency working with IEP teams and completing documentation as required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in groups
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that celebrates student achievements

$2,490 - $2,678/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
