Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Puyallup, WA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Licensed or able to obtain licensure as an SLP in the state of Washington
- Experience delivering therapy in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide thorough documentation
- Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and supporting diverse student needs
- Only SLPs are eligible—SLPA and virtual applicants will not be considered
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language interventions to elementary and middle school students
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders relevant to the school-aged population
- Develop, execute, and monitor IEPs in partnership with general and special education teams
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain consistent documentation and progress reporting for all students served
- Participate in training and orientation on September 1 and transition fully into role beginning September 9
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a total of 37.5 hours per week

$2,490 - $2,678/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 38 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
