Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Tennessee SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- CCC certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based speech-language therapy preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP process and documentation
- Expertise in designing and delivering interventions for diverse student needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and families
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students at both an elementary and a middle school
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals for students with communication disorders
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and present recommendations at team meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support each student’s academic and social success
- Engage with parents and caregivers to facilitate strong home-school connections
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Adapt to virtual service delivery platforms when needed
