Desired Skills & Experience:
- Current Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility); SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY welcomed
- Pediatric, school-based, and/or healthcare SLP experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, and intervention with children ages 3–21
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Committed to cultural sensitivity, inclusivity, and individualized student success
- Please note: SLPAs will not be considered for this role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy to a diverse student caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide both individual and small-group interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families on student progress and strategies for generalization
- Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
