Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Therapist - Fort Lauderdale, FL

As a full-time clinician (minimum 32 hours per week), you’ll enjoy an engaging schedule of 11:00am to 7:00pm, four days a week—with possibilities for flexibility or a hybrid work arrangement for the right candidate. Work directly with a diverse pediatric population, helping children develop vital communication skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.
Desired Skills & Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience in pediatric therapy; previous work in a clinic environment is a plus
- Ability to work independently—no COTAs/assistants in this role
- Warm, engaging interpersonal communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Comfort with (or openness to) hybrid work and evolving technology in teletherapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each child’s needs and family goals
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary providers
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Contribute to a positive, energetic clinic culture
