Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (specific schedule provided during interview process)
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a hospital environment
- Active California state license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptable and resourceful approach in fast-paced clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide direct SLP therapy services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized therapy and care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding and participation in treatment
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate health records
- Contribute to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives within the therapy department
