Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly desired
  • Solid knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for a variety of speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of communication or swallowing impairments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments
  • Document treatment interventions and patient progress clearly and accurately
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about strategies to assist with recovery and daily communication
  • Work closely with other therapists, nurses, physicians, and staff to provide integrated patient care
  • Participate in discharge planning, providing recommendations for continued therapy as needed

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
