Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients presenting with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other allied health professionals to ensure a cohesive and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions, adapting interventions to meet each patient’s unique needs and progress.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and exercises to support ongoing improvement and successful transition of care.
  • Accurately document evaluations, goals, treatments, and patient progress according to hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive therapy environment, upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current, valid SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous hospital or healthcare experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
