Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active SLPA licensure in the state (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children preferred
- Solid knowledge of speech and language disorders, AAC, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for working with young learners and contributing to their educational journey
- Organizational skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services as guided by the supervising SLP
- Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policies
- Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
