- Option 2: Immerse yourself full-time (five days) at an elementary school, supporting approximately 60 students, including those in three applied skills classrooms.
What we're looking for:
- Valid SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state.
- Recent experience or a strong interest in working with school-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adaptability in dynamic educational environments.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload alongside supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
- Professional, reliable, and eager to contribute to a supportive team atmosphere.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Carrying out speech and language therapy activities aligned with students’ individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Supporting generalization of therapy goals within classroom and small group settings.
- Collaborating with teaching staff, parents, and supervising SLPs to ensure student progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of services and student progress.
- Attending team meetings as required.
