Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Texas SLPA licensure required (candidates without active licenses or those completing clinical hours will not be considered)
- Prior experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking ability highly desirable, though not required
- Commitment to meeting time-sensitive onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting through TEA (clearance can take up to 10 days)
- Strong communication skills, high degree of professionalism, and dedication to student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assist SLPs in planning and implementing evidence-based therapy interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of student goals, progress, and therapy sessions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-focused learning environment for all students
- Collaborate closely with other school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
This assignment offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with up to 37.5 hours per week and the rewarding experience of supporting one dedicated campus community.
