School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in Connecticut (CT)
- Experience in school settings, ideally working with PreK-6th grade students
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work full-time, on site (not remote or hybrid)
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal-oriented interventions is valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement speech and language activities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Provide direct therapy to students across varying ability levels and needs, maintaining thorough documentation
- Assist in developing and modifying materials for student use
- Track progress and report updates to supervising SLP and educational team
- Support classroom teachers in strategies to enhance student communication
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that champions student growth
