In this contract position, you’ll work on-site with PreK through 6th grade students, assisting them to develop their communication skills and achieve greater success in the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLPA license in Connecticut
  • Experience or coursework related to providing speech therapy in school settings preferred
  • Comfortable supporting PreK-6th grade students with diverse needs
  • Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress efficiently
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work fully on-site during school hours

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for assigned students under the supervision of an SLP
  • Implement individualized therapy activities according to prescribed intervention plans
  • Track and report student progress toward their IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students’ success
  • Assist with preparing materials and scheduling sessions to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
