Provide specialized support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a K-12 school setting located in Escondido, CA. Responsibilities:
- Assist certified Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering individualized speech and language therapy to students aged Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Implement therapy plans under supervision, documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support each student's communication goals.
- Work primarily at the elementary school from Monday to Thursday, then provide services at the high school on Friday.
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and school policies throughout all service activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working in educational settings supporting K-12 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and adapt to different student needs.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to maintaining scheduled hours.
Schedule and Location:
- Contract position based in Escondido, CA.
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week).
- All days will be spent at the Oceanside location.
- Monday through Thursday services provided at the Elementary School.
- Friday services provided at the High School.
