Qualifications:
- Hold current certification as CCC-SLP or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Licensed or eligible for SLP licensure in the state of Kentucky
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
- Solid foundation in healthcare-related SLP practices
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and treatment approaches
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and families
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, reports, and required documentation
- Support students’ participation and success in classroom activities by addressing communication challenges
