About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Thousand Oaks, CA for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will work with a diverse student population, helping them strengthen communication skills essential for academic achievement and everyday interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Apply evidence-based strategies tailored to student needs
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Prior school-based experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
