School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant | Tenino, Washington

Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license in Washington or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Understanding of speech-language therapy principles and techniques
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to adapt therapy activities and materials as needed
- Dependable, adaptable, and eager to work collaboratively in a team setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support and implement speech and language therapy plans designed by a supervising SLP
- Assist with documentation and data collection to monitor student progress
- Work one-on-one and in group sessions, delivering interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Prepare therapy materials and maintain a welcoming therapeutic environment
- Communicate student progress to supervising clinicians and educational teams
- Attend meetings and trainings pertinent to professional development and compliance
